1000 m2 internationalt storværk om klimahandling - Danmarks største vægmaleri
Den internationalt anerkendte kunstnerduo Telmo Miel, som har opført store kunstværker i det offentlige rum over hele verden. Telmo Miel står bag det 1000 m2 store værk, der nu er givet til aarhusianerne og alle som gæster Aarhus i årene fremover - som et symbol på vores fælles ansvar og klimahandlinger fra den enkelte borger. Udover symbolet på handling og fælles ansvar, kan Aarhus samtidig bryste sig af at have Danmarks største vægmaleri af høj international klasse, centralt placeret i hjertet af Aarhus, hvor mange mennesker kan glædes og debattere over kunstværket, som har titlen ON OUR WAY.

Verdensmålene for bæredygtig udvikling kan kun realiseres gennem stærkt globalt engagement og samarbejde. Verden i dag er tættere forbundet end nogensinde før. Koordineret politikker, der vil hjælpe udviklingslandene med afvikling af deres gæld, samt øget investeringer i de mindst udviklede lande, er afgørende for at opnå bæredygtig vækst og udvikling. Målet er at styrke nord-syd og syd-syd-samarbejde ved at støtte nationale planer for at nå alle verdensmålene. Gennem fremme af internationale handel og støtte til øget eksport fra udviklingslandene vil bidrage til at opnå et universelt, regelbaseret og retfærdigt handelssystem, der er fair og åbent og til fordel for alle.

The internationally acclaimed artist duo Telmo Miel, known for creating large-scale artworks in public spaces around the world, is behind the 1000 m2 artwork, which has now been given to the people of Aarhus and all those who visit Aarhus in the years to come as a symbol of our shared responsibility and the need for more climate action from each individual citizen. In addition to being a symbol of action and shared responsibility, Aarhus can also boast having Denmark's largest high-quality mural, centrally located in the heart of Aarhus, where many people can enjoy and discuss the artwork.

The Sustainable Development Goals can only be achieved through strong global engagement and cooperation. Today, the world is more interconnected than ever before. The goal is to strengthen North-South and South-South cooperation by supporting national plans to achieve all the Sustainable Development Goals. By promoting international trade and supporting increased exports from developing countries, we will contribute to achieving a universal, rules-based, fair, and open trading system that benefits everyone.
