Så skal der grilles! For klimaet. I denne satiriske forestilling inviteres publikum en tur til havnen, for at deltage i en begravelsesseance for den sidste grillpølse. Der læses op fra klimaaftaler og rapporter og publikum involveres i festlighederne gennem fællessang og dans. Hele festen bliver gennemført med et så stort engagement og kreativitet, at det er vanskeligt ikke at lade sig rive med. Det er den performative kunstnerduo Sir Grand Lear, der står bag denne medrivende og samfundskritiske forestilling, som til United Change vil behandle det afgørende Verdensmål 13: Klimaindsats.

Alle lande i verden kan se de drastiske konsekvenser af klimaforandringer. Udledningen af drivhusgasser fortsætter med at stige, og udledningen er i dag mere end 50 procent højere end niveauet i 1990. Endvidere forårsager den globale opvarmning langvarige ændringer i vores klimasystem, som truer med uoprettelige konsekvenser, hvis vi ikke handler nu. Hvis den politisk vilje er til stede og den kombineres med en bred vifte af tekniske foranstaltninger, er det muligt at begrænse stigningen af den globale gennemsnitstemperatur til to grader over det førindustrielle niveau. Men det kræver en øjeblikkelig kollektiv indsats.

Join the world's final barbecue!
Yes! Let’s have a barbecue - for the climate. In this satirical performance, the audience is invited on a trip to the harbour to participate in a funeral service for the last grilled sausage. Climate agreements are quoted and the audience are involved in the celebrations through joint singing and dancing. The entire party is carried out with such great engagement and creativity that it is impossible not to become enthused. The performative artist duo Sir Grand Lear are behind this riveting and socially critical performance, which for United Change will deal with the decisive Goal 13: Climate action.
ABOUT GOAL 13
All countries in the world can see the drastic consequences of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, and emissions today are more than 50 percent higher than they were in 1990. Furthermore, global warming is causing long-term changes in our climate system that threaten to have irreversible consequences if we do not act immediately. If the political will is present and is combined with a wide range of technical measures, it is possible to limit the increase in the global average temperature to two degrees above pre-industrial levels. But it requires an immediate collective effort.
